This is a song of acknowledgment, wonder, connection, healing, a deep inner knowing and "sacred heart" love, yet how many of us two-leggeds take the time to understand fully and completely our connection with Mother Earth, The Earth Mother?
For the most part we have taken for granted Her abundance to the point of affluence and vulgarity, which is not sustainable. We have robbed Her of Her innocence; raped and pillaged Her body; killed Her four-legged creatures into a place of extinction. Her waters have been polluted with our negative emotions of anger and sadness coupled with our deepest fears. Her atmosphere has been choked with our darkened never-ending stream of thoughts. This invisible web of thoughts and network of communication has altered and cluttered Her balance, purity and clarity.
Despite this negative state of being and mass induced atrocities however, we can still wake up in the morning, and smell the fresh scent of dew on the ground and hear the birds singing their praises to The Creator and The Earth Mother. We feel the warmth of the sun on our skin and delight at how good and healing that feels to us. We smell the flowers and marvel at the fragility of the wings of the dragonfly as it skips over the waters. We see the oceans, lakes and mountains and it takes our breath away as we take pleasure at the grandeur of it all. How wondrous is nature?
Mother Earth is a conscious and living Being and it is by Her grace that we walk on Her skin. If we take a moment to go inside ourselves, to that place of silence, gentleness and stillness that is our crystal earth heart, it is here that we can quietly attune to Her living Spirit. We hear Her voice speaking to us through all Her creatures, plants, trees, crystals, minerals, elements, elementals, animals, birds, reptiles and fish. She would wish us to know that we are beloved of Her and blessed by Her. She would ask us to hear Her beautiful songs of love that She sings to her minerals and crystal children. She sings beautiful ballads and mystical plaintive chants to Her waters, earth, air, fire and ether. She sings these great strong healing melodies to all Her bereaved and sickened children who long for and need her loving chants. You can hear Her in the sighing winds as She cries for all of creation, including us, for remember with human blood and earth skin and bones we too are the children of Gaia, the Earth Mother. She sings and sighs for us as She feels in Her heart of hearts and in Her very blood the great stress, pain and challenges we face each day.
She wishes you now to receive through these words Her blessings to heal your heart. She is grateful and loves to receive your prayers, love energy and blessings. Each day as you rise and as you walk on Her skin, bless Her with each footfall, sing to Her, of Her beauty and the beauty of Her creatures. Enjoy the beauty of the colours of the day, of the sunrise, the height of the sun and the sunset. Sing to Her of the beauty of the waters and the land, the trees and plants, flowers and the shapes of the hills and the Earth Herself, for She loves to hear you sing to Her. She sings to you always on the wind, in the waters and through the birds. She asks you to take this deeper into your heart when you hear these and to feel Her energy coming up through the soles of your feet. Even as you walk open your feet to the earth and Her love coming up through to your heart. Always remember to do this when you walk on Her even when you are on concrete or in your car, you can still receive Her love energy through your feet and into your heart. Open now and receive the blessings of Your Earth Mother.
